Deuteronomy 13:1-2
1“If a prophet or aa dreamer of dreams arises among you and gives you a sign or a wonder, 2and bthe sign or wonder that he tells you comes to pass, and if he says, ‘Let us go after other gods,’ which you have not known, ‘and let us serve them,’Matthew 24:24
24For cfalse christs and dfalse prophets will arise and eperform great signs and wonders, fso as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.Mark 13:22

the beast oit deceives those who dwell on earth, telling them to make an image for the beast pthat was wounded by the sword and yet lived. Revelation of John 19:20
20And the beast was captured, and with it qthe false prophet rwho in its presence ▼▼Or on its behalf
had done the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who tworshiped its image. These two were uthrown alive into the lake of vfire that burns with sulfur.
