Deuteronomy 13:1-5

1If a prophet or aa dreamer of dreams arises among you and gives you a sign or a wonder, 2and bthe sign or wonder that he tells you comes to pass, and if he says, ‘Let us go after other gods,’ which you have not known, ‘and let us serve them,’ 3you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams. For the Lord your God cis testing you, to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. 4You shall dwalk after the Lord your God and fear him and keep his commandments and obey his voice, and you shall serve him and ehold fast to him. 5But fthat prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has taught rebellion against the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you out of the house of slavery, to make you leave the way in which the Lord your God commanded you to walk. gSo you shall purge the evil
Or  evil person
from your midst.

Jeremiah 14:14-15

14And the Lord said to me: “The iprophets are prophesying lies in my name. jI did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a lying vision, kworthless divination, and lthe deceit of their own minds. 15Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the prophets who prophesy in my name although mI did not send them, and who say, nSword and famine shall not come upon this land’: oBy sword and famine those prophets shall be consumed.

Jeremiah 23:13-15

13In the prophets of pSamaria
qI saw an unsavory thing:
rthey prophesied by Baal
sand led my people Israel astray.
14But in the prophets of Jerusalem
I have seen a horrible thing:
tthey commit adultery and walk in lies;
uthey strengthen the hands of evildoers,
so that no one turns from his evil;
vall of them have become like Sodom to me,
wand its inhabitants like Gomorrah.”
15Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts concerning the prophets:
xBehold, I will feed them with bitter food
yand give them zpoisoned water to drink,
for from the prophets of Jerusalem
ungodliness has gone out into all the land.”

Jeremiah 23:31

31Behold, I am against the prophets, declares the Lord, who use their tongues and declare, ‘declares the Lord.’

Jeremiah 27:15

15I have not sent them, declares the Lord, but aathey are prophesying falsely in my name, with the result that I will drive you out and you will perish, you and the prophets who are prophesying to you.”

Ezekiel 13:6

6 abThey have seen false visions and lying divinations. They say, ‘Declares the Lord,’ acwhen the Lord has not sent them, and yet they expect him to fulfill their word.
