Deuteronomy 13:15

15you shall surely put the inhabitants of that city to the sword, devoting it to destruction,
That is, setting apart ( devoting) as an offering to the Lord (for destruction)
all who are in it and its cattle, with the edge of the sword.

Joshua 7:24

24And Joshua and all Israel with him took Achan the son of Zerah, and the silver and the cloak and the bar of gold, and his sons and daughters and his oxen and donkeys and sheep and his tent and all that he had. And they brought them up to the bValley of Achor.

Judges 5:23

23 Curse Meroz, says the angel of the Lord,
curse its inhabitants thoroughly,
cbecause they did not come to the help of the Lord,
to the help of the Lord against the mighty.

Judges 21:5

5And the people of Israel said, “Which of all the tribes of Israel did not come up in the assembly to the Lord?” dFor they had taken a great oath concerning him who did not come up to the Lord to Mizpah, saying, “He shall surely be put to death.”

1 Samuel 11:7

7He took a yoke of oxen eand cut them in pieces and sent them throughout all the territory of Israel by the hand of the messengers, saying, fWhoever does not come out after Saul and Samuel, so shall it be done to his oxen!” Then the dread of the Lord fell upon the people, and they came out gas one man.
