Deuteronomy 13:5

5But athat prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has taught rebellion against the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you out of the house of slavery, to make you leave the way in which the Lord your God commanded you to walk. bSo you shall purge the evil
Or  evil person
from your midst.

Deuteronomy 29:18

18Beware lest there be among you a man or woman or clan or tribe whose heart is turning away today from the Lord our God to go and serve the gods of those nations. Beware lest there be among you da root bearing poisonous and bitter fruit,

25Then people will say, ‘It is because they abandoned the covenant of the Lord, the God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them out of the land of Egypt,

Deuteronomy 31:16-17

16And the Lord said to Moses, eBehold, you are about to lie down with your fathers. Then this people will rise and fwhore after the foreign gods among them in the land that they are entering, and they will gforsake me and hbreak my covenant that I have made with them. 17Then my anger will be kindled against them in that day, and iI will forsake them and jhide my face from them, and they will be devoured. And many evils and troubles will come upon them, so that they will say in that day, k‘Have not these evils come upon us because lour God is not among us?’

Deuteronomy 32:15

oyou grew fat, stout, and sleek;

and scoffed at rthe Rock of his salvation.
