Deuteronomy 15:2

2And this is the manner of the release: every creditor shall release what he has lent to his neighbor. He shall not exact it of his neighbor, his brother, because the Lord’s release has been proclaimed.

Nehemiah 5:7

7I took counsel with myself, and I brought charges against the nobles and the officials. I said to them, a“You are exacting interest, each from his brother.” And I held a great assembly against them

Nehemiah 5:10-11

10Moreover, I and my brothers and my servants are lending them money and grain. Let us abandon this exacting of interest. 11Return to them this very day their fields, their vineyards, their olive orchards, and their houses, and the percentage of money, grain, wine, and oil that you have been exacting from them.”

Nehemiah 10:31

31 bAnd if the peoples of the land bring in goods or any grain on the Sabbath day to sell, we will not buy from them on the Sabbath or on a holy day. And we will forego the crops of the cseventh year and the dexaction of every debt.

Isaiah 58:3

3 eWhy have we fasted, and you see it not?
Why have we humbled ourselves, and you take no knowledge of it?’
Behold, in the day of your fast you seek your own pleasure,
Or pursue your own business

gand oppress all your workers.

Ezekiel 45:9

9Thus says the Lord God: hEnough, O princes of Israel! Put away violence and oppression, and execute justice and righteousness. Cease iyour evictions of my people, declares the Lord God.
