Deuteronomy 15:7-11

7If among you, one of your brothers should become poor, in any of your towns within your land that the Lord your God is giving you, ayou shall not harden your heart or shut your hand against your poor brother, 8but byou shall open your hand to him and lend him sufficient for his need, whatever it may be. 9Take care lest there be an unworthy thought in your heart and you say, ‘The seventh year, the year of release is near,’ and your ceye look grudgingly
Or be evil; also verse 10
on your poor brother, and you give him nothing, and he ecry to the Lord against you, and fyou be guilty of sin.
10You shall give to him freely, and gyour heart shall not be grudging when you give to him, because hfor this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in all that you undertake. 11For ithere will never cease to be poor in the land. Therefore I command you, j‘You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land.’

Deuteronomy 15:14

14You shall furnish him liberally out of your flock, out of your threshing floor, and out of your winepress. kAs the Lord your God has blessed you, you shall give to him.

Proverbs 23:6-8

6 lDo not eat the bread of a man who is mstingy;
Hebrew whose eye is evil

odo not desire his delicacies,
7for he is like one who is inwardly calculating.
Or  for as he calculates in his soul, so is he

Eat and drink!” he says to you,
but his qheart is not with you.
8You will vomit up the morsels that you have eaten,
and waste your pleasant words.

Isaiah 32:5

5 rThe fool will no more be called noble,
nor the scoundrel said to be honorable.

8But he who is noble plans noble things,
and on noble things he stands.

9Do not grumble against one another, brothers, sso that you may not be judged; behold, tthe Judge is standing uat the door.

1 Peter 4:9
