Deuteronomy 16:18-19

Justice

18“You shall appoint ajudges and officers in all your towns that the Lord your God is giving you, according to your tribes, and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment. 19 bYou shall not pervert justice. cYou shall not show partiality, dand you shall not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and subverts the cause of the righteous.

2 Samuel 23:3

3The God of Israel has spoken;
ethe Rock of Israel has said to me:
When one rules justly over men,
ruling fin the fear of God,

2 Chronicles 19:6-7

6and said to the judges, “Consider what you do, gfor you judge not for man but for the Lord. He is with you in giving judgment. 7Now then, let the fear of the Lord be upon you. Be careful what you do, for hthere is no injustice with the Lord our God, ior partiality or taking bribes.”

Psalms 72:1-4

Give the King Your Justice

Of jSolomon.

1 Give the king your kjustice, O God,
and your righteousness to the royal son!
2May he ljudge your people with righteousness,
and your poor with justice!
3Let the mountains bear mprosperity for the people,
and the hills, in righteousness!
4May he defend the cause of the poor of the people,
give deliverance to the children of the needy,
and crush the oppressor!

Isaiah 11:3-5

3And his delight shall be in the fear of the Lord.
nHe shall not judge by owhat his eyes see,
or decide disputes by pwhat his ears hear,
4but qwith righteousness he shall judge the poor,
and decide with equity for the meek of the earth;
and he shall rstrike the earth with the rod of his mouth,
and swith the breath of his lips the shall kill the wicked.
5Righteousness shall be the belt of his waist,
and ufaithfulness the belt of his loins.

Isaiah 32:1

A King Will Reign in Righteousness

and princes will rule in justice.
