Justice

18“You shall appoint ajudges and officers in all your towns that the Lord your God is giving you, according to your tribes, and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment. 19 bYou shall not pervert justice. cYou shall not show partiality, dand you shall not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and subverts the cause of the righteous.

Judges 8:22-23

Gideon’s Ephod

22Then the men of Israel said to Gideon, “Rule over us, you and your son and your grandson also, for you have saved us from the hand of Midian.” 23Gideon said to them, “I will not rule over you, and my son will not rule over you; ethe Lord will rule over you.”
