Justice

18 “You shall appoint ^ajudges and officers in all your towns that the Lord your God is giving you, according to your tribes, and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment. 19 ^bYou shall not pervert justice. ^cYou shall not show partiality, ^dand you shall not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and subverts the cause of the righteous.

Romans 13:3-4

3 For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you ^ewill receive his approval, 4 for ^fhe is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, ^gan avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer.
