Deuteronomy 17:15

15you may indeed set a king over you awhom the Lord your God will choose. One bfrom among your brothers you shall set as king over you. You may not put a foreigner over you, who is not your brother.

Deuteronomy 17:20

20that his heart may not be lifted up above his brothers, and that he cmay not turn aside from the commandment, either to the right hand or to the left, dso that he may continue long in his kingdom, he and his children, in Israel.

1 Chronicles 11:1-3

David Anointed King

1 eThen all Israel gathered together to David at Hebron and said, “Behold, we are your bone and flesh. 2In times past, even when Saul was king, it was you who led out and brought in Israel. And the Lord your God said to you, f‘You shall be shepherd of my people Israel, and you shall be prince over my people Israel.’” 3So all the elders of Israel came to the king at Hebron, and David made a covenant with them at Hebron before the Lord. And they anointed David king over Israel, gaccording to the word of the Lord by Samuel.

Psalms 22:22

22 hI will tell of your name to my ibrothers;
in the midst of the congregation I will praise you:

Hebrews 2:11-12

11For jhe who sanctifies and kthose who are sanctified lall have one source.
Greek  all are of one
That is why he is not ashamed to call them nbrothers,
Or  brothers and sisters. The plural Greek word adelphoi (translated “brothers”) refers to siblings in a family. In New Testament usage, depending on the context, adelphoi may refer either to men or to both men and women who are siblings (brothers and sisters) in God’s family, the church; also verse 12
12saying,

p“I will tell of your name to my brothers;
in the midst of the qcongregation I will sing your praise.”
