Deuteronomy 17:18-19
18“And when he sits on the throne of his kingdom, ahe shall write for himself in a book a copy of this law, bapproved by ▼▼Hebrew from before
the Levitical priests. 19And dit shall be with him, and he shall read in it all the days of his life, ethat he may learn to fear the Lord his God by keeping all the words of this law and these statutes, and doing them, Ezra 7:25-26
25“And you, Ezra, according to the wisdom of your God that is in your hand, fappoint magistrates and judges who may judge all the people in the province Beyond the River, all such as know the laws of your God. gAnd those who do not know them, you shall teach. 26Whoever will not obey the law of your God and the law of the king, let judgment be strictly executed on him, whether for death or for banishment or for confiscation of his goods or for imprisonment.”Isaiah 8:20
20 hTo the teaching and to the testimony! If they will not speak according to this word, it is because they have no idawn.
