Deuteronomy 17:9-11

9 aAnd you shall come to the Levitical priests and to the judge who is in office in those days, and you shall consult them, and bthey shall declare to you the decision. 10Then you shall do according to what they declare to you from that place that the Lord will choose. And you shall be careful to do according to all that they direct you. 11According to the instructions that they give you, and according to the decision which they pronounce to you, you shall do. You shall not turn aside from the verdict that they declare to you, either to the right hand or to the left.

Deuteronomy 33:10

10 cThey shall teach Jacob your rules
and Israel your law;
dthey shall put incense before you
and ewhole burnt offerings on your altar.

Ezekiel 44:23-24

23 fThey shall teach my people the difference between the holy and the common, and gshow them how to distinguish between the unclean and the clean. 24 hIn a dispute, they shall act as judges, and they shall judge it according to my judgments. They shall keep my laws and my statutes in all my appointed feasts, and ithey shall keep my Sabbaths holy.

Hosea 4:6

6My people are destroyed jfor lack of knowledge;
kbecause you have rejected knowledge,
I reject you lfrom being a priest to me.
And since you have forgotten the law of your God,
mI also will forget your children.

Haggai 2:11

11Thus says the Lord of hosts: nAsk the priests about the law:

Malachi 2:7

7For othe lips of a priest should guard knowledge, and people
