Deuteronomy 18:10-12
10There shall not be found among you anyone awho burns his son or his daughter as an offering, ▼▼Hebrew makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire
anyone who cpractices divination or dtells fortunes or interprets omens, or ea sorcerer 11or a charmer or fa medium or a necromancer or gone who inquires of the dead, 12 hfor whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord. And ibecause of these abominations the Lord your God is driving them out before you. Psalms 106:37-39
37They jsacrificed their sonsand their daughters to kthe demons;
38they poured out innocent blood,
the blood of their sons and daughters,
whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan,
and the land was lpolluted with blood.
39Thus they mbecame unclean by their acts,
and nplayed the whore in their deeds.
Jeremiah 7:31
31And they have built the high places of oTopheth, which is in pthe Valley of the Son of Hinnom, qto burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, rwhich I did not command, nor did it come into my mind.Jeremiah 19:5
5 sand have built the high places of Baal tto burn their sons in the fire as burnt offerings to Baal, uwhich I did not command or decree, nor did it come into my mind—Ezekiel 20:26
26and I defiled them through vtheir very gifts win their offering up all their firstborn, that I might devastate them. I did it xthat they might know that I am the Lord.
