Deuteronomy 18:9-12

Abominable Practices

9 “When you come into the land that the Lord your God is giving you, ^ayou shall not learn to follow the abominable practices of those nations. 10 There shall not be found among you anyone ^bwho burns his son or his daughter as an offering, ^{▼▼Hebrew makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire} anyone who ^dpractices divination or ^etells fortunes or interprets omens, or ^fa sorcerer 11 or a charmer or ^ga medium or a necromancer or ^hone who inquires of the dead, 12 ⁱfor whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord. And ^jbecause of these abominations the Lord your God is driving them out before you.

2 Chronicles 33:2-4

2 And he did what was evil in the sight of the Lord, according to ^kthe abominations of the nations whom the Lord drove out before the people of Israel. 3 For he rebuilt the high places ^lthat his father Hezekiah had broken down, and he erected altars to the Baals, and made ^mAsheroth, and worshiped all the host of heaven and served them. 4 And he built altars in the house of the Lord, of which the Lord had said, ⁿ“In Jerusalem shall my name be forever.”

Romans 1:25-26

25 because they exchanged the truth about God for ^oa lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, ^pwho is blessed forever! Amen.

26 For this reason ^qGod gave them up to ^rdishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature;
