Deuteronomy 2:30

30But aSihon the king of bHeshbon would not let us pass by him, for the Lord your God chardened his spirit and made his heart obstinate, that he might give him into your hand, as he is this day.

Joshua 11:20

19You will say to me then, “Why does he still find fault? For lwho can resist his will?” 20But who are you, O man, mto answer back to God? nWill what is molded say to its molder, “Why have you made me like this?”
