Psalms 83:9-18

9 Do to them as you did to dMidian,
as to eSisera and Jabin at fthe river Kishon,
10who were destroyed at gEn-dor,
who became hdung for the ground.
11Make their nobles like iOreb and Zeeb,
all their princes like jZebah and Zalmunna,
12who said, k“Let us take possession for ourselves
of the pastures of God.”
13 O my God, make them like lwhirling dust,
Or  like a tumbleweed

like nchaff before the wind.
14As ofire consumes the forest,
as the flame psets the mountains ablaze,
15so may you pursue them qwith your tempest
and terrify them with your hurricane!
16 rFill their faces with shame,
that they may seek your name, O Lord.
17Let them be sput to shame and dismayed forever;
let them perish in disgrace,
18that they may tknow that you alone,
uwhose name is the Lord,
are vthe Most High over all the earth.

8May his aadays be few;
may abanother take his acoffice!
9May his adchildren be fatherless
and his wife a widow!
10May his children aewander about and beg,
afseeking food far from the ruins they inhabit!
11May agthe creditor seize all that he has;
may ahstrangers plunder the fruits of his toil!
12Let there be none to aiextend kindness to him,
nor any to ajpity his fatherless children!
13May his akposterity be cut off;
may his alname be blotted out in the second generation!
14May amthe iniquity of his fathers be remembered before the Lord,
and let not the sin of his mother be anblotted out!
15 aoLet them be before the Lord continually,
that he may apcut off the memory of them from the earth!
16 For he did not remember to show kindness,
but pursued aqthe poor and needy
and arthe brokenhearted, to put them to death.
17 asHe loved to curse; let curses come
Revocalization; Masoretic Text curses have come
upon him!
He did not delight in blessing; may it be far
Revocalization; Masoretic Text it is far
from him!
18He avclothed himself with cursing as his coat;
may it awsoak
Revocalization; Masoretic Text it has soaked
into his body like water,
like oil into his bones!
19May it be like a garment that he wraps around him,
like a belt that he puts on every day!
20May this be the reward of my ayaccusers from the Lord,
of those who speak evil against my life!

Psalms 137:7-9

7 Remember, O Lord, against the azEdomites
bathe day of Jerusalem,
how they said, bb“Lay it bare, lay it bare,
down to its foundations!”
8O daughter of Babylon, bcdoomed to be destroyed,
blessed shall he be who bdrepays you
with what you have done to us!
9Blessed shall he be who takes your little ones
and bedashes them against the rock!

Psalms 140:9-10

Let them be cast into fire,
into miry pits, no more to rise!

Psalms 144:6-7

6 bhFlash forth the lightning and scatter them;
bisend out your arrows and rout them!
