Deuteronomy 2:34

34And we captured all his cities at that time and devoted to destruction
That is, set apart ( devoted) as an offering to the Lord (for destruction)
every bcity, men, women, and children. We left no survivors.

Deuteronomy 20:13

13And when the Lord your God gives it into your hand, cyou shall put all its males to the sword,

Deuteronomy 20:16-18

16But din the cities of these peoples that the Lord your God is giving you for an inheritance, you shall save alive nothing that breathes, 17but eyou shall devote them to complete destruction,
That is, set apart ( devote) as an offering to the Lord (for destruction)
the Hittites and the Amorites, the Canaanites and the Perizzites, the Hivites and the Jebusites, as the Lord your God has commanded,
18that gthey may not teach you to do according to all their abominable practices that they have done for their gods, and so you hsin against the Lord your God.

Joshua 6:21

21Then they idevoted all in the city to destruction, both men and women, young and old, oxen, sheep, and donkeys, with the edge of the sword.

Joshua 8:25

25And all who fell that day, both men and women, were 12,000, all the people of Ai.

Joshua 10:40

40So Joshua struck the whole land, the hill country and the Negeb and the lowland jand the slopes, and all their kings. He left none remaining, kbut devoted to destruction all that breathed, just as the Lord God of Israel commanded.
