Deuteronomy 20:11-18

11And if it responds to you peaceably and it opens to you, then all the people who are found in it shall do forced labor for you and shall serve you. 12But if it makes no peace with you, but makes war against you, then you shall besiege it. 13And when the Lord your God gives it into your hand, ayou shall put all its males to the sword, 14 bbut the women and the little ones, the livestock, and everything else in the city, all its spoil, you cshall take as plunder for yourselves. And dyou shall enjoy the spoil of your enemies, which the Lord your God has given you. 15Thus you shall do to all the cities that are very far from you, which are not cities of the nations here. 16But ein the cities of these peoples that the Lord your God is giving you for an inheritance, you shall save alive nothing that breathes, 17but fyou shall devote them to complete destruction,
That is, set apart ( devote) as an offering to the Lord (for destruction)
the Hittites and the Amorites, the Canaanites and the Perizzites, the Hivites and the Jebusites, as the Lord your God has commanded,
18that hthey may not teach you to do according to all their abominable practices that they have done for their gods, and so you isin against the Lord your God.

Joshua 16:10

10However, jthey did not drive out the Canaanites who lived in Gezer, so the Canaanites have lived in the midst of Ephraim to this day but have been made kto do forced labor.

Judges 1:30

30Zebulun did not drive out the inhabitants of Kitron, or the inhabitants of lNahalol, so the Canaanites lived among them, but became subject to forced labor.

Judges 1:33

33Naphtali did not drive out the inhabitants of mBeth-shemesh, or the inhabitants of Beth-anath, so they lived among the Canaanites, the inhabitants of the land. Nevertheless, the inhabitants of Beth-shemesh and of Beth-anath became subject to forced labor for them.

Judges 1:35

35The Amorites persisted in dwelling in Mount Heres, nin Aijalon, and in Shaalbim, but the hand of the house of Joseph rested heavily on them, and they became subject to forced labor.

2 Chronicles 8:7-8

7 oAll the people who were left of the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, who were not of Israel, 8from their descendants who were left after them in the land, whom the people of Israel had not destroyed—these Solomon drafted pas forced labor, and so they are to this day.
