Deuteronomy 21:23

23 ahis body shall not remain all night on the tree, but you shall bury him the same day, for ba hanged man is cursed by God. cYou shall not defile your land that the Lord your God is giving you for an inheritance.

2 Samuel 17:23

23When Ahithophel saw that his counsel was not followed, he saddled his donkey and went off home to dhis own city. He eset his house in order and fhanged himself, and he died and was buried in the tomb of his father.

2 Samuel 18:10
