Deuteronomy 22:19

19and they shall fine him a hundred shekels
A  shekel was about 2/5 ounce or 11 grams
of silver and give them to the father of the young woman, because he has brought a bad name upon a virgin
Or girl of marriageable age
of Israel. And she shall be his wife. cHe may not divorce her all his days.

Deuteronomy 22:29

29then the man who lay with her shall give to the father of the young woman fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife, because he has violated her. He may not divorce her all his days.

Malachi 2:16

16“For dthe man who does not love his wife but divorces her,
Hebrew  who hates and divorces
says the Lord, the God of Israel, covers

Matthew 1:19

19And her husband Joseph, being a just man and unwilling hto put her to shame, resolved to divorce her quietly.

Luke 16:18

Divorce and Remarriage

18 iEveryone who divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery, and he who marries a woman divorced from her husband commits adultery.

1 Corinthians 7:11-12

11(but if she does, jshe should remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband), and kthe husband should not divorce his wife.

12To the rest I say (I, not the Lord) that if any brother has a wife who is an unbeliever, and she consents to live with him, he should not divorce her.
