15 a“You shall not give up to his master a slave
Or servant; the Hebrew term  ‘ebed designates a range of social and economic roles (see Preface)
who has escaped from his master to you.
16He shall dwell with you, in your midst, in the place that he shall choose within one of your towns, wherever it suits him. You shall not wrong him.

Deuteronomy 24:14

14“You shall not coppress a hired worker who is poor and needy, whether he is one of your brothers or one of the sojourners who are in your land within your towns.

Jeremiah 21:12

12O house of David! Thus says the Lord:

d“‘Execute justice ein the morning,
and deliver from the hand of the oppressor
him who has been robbed,
flest my wrath go forth like fire,
and burn with none to quench it,
because of your evil deeds.’”
