Deuteronomy 24:14-15

14“You shall not aoppress a hired worker who is poor and needy, whether he is one of your brothers or one of the sojourners who are in your land within your towns. 15 bYou shall give him his wages on the same day, before the sun sets (for he is poor and counts on it), clest he cry against you to the Lord, and you be guilty of sin.

Psalms 9:9

9 The Lord is da stronghold for ethe oppressed,
a stronghold in ftimes of trouble.

Psalms 10:14-18

14But you do see, for you gnote mischief and vexation,
that you may take it into your hands;
to you the helpless hcommits himself;
you have been ithe helper of the fatherless.
15 jBreak the arm of the wicked and evildoer;
kcall his wickedness to account till you find none.
16 lThe Lord is king forever and ever;
the mnations perish from his land.
17O Lord, you hear the desire of the afflicted;
you will nstrengthen their heart; you will incline your ear
18to odo justice to the fatherless and pthe oppressed,
so that qman who is of the earth may strike terror no more.

Psalms 12:5

5 Because rthe poor are plundered, because the needy groan,
sI will now arise,” says the Lord;
“I will place him in the tsafety for which he longs.”

Psalms 72:4

4May he defend the cause of the poor of the people,
give deliverance to the children of the needy,
and crush the oppressor!

Psalms 72:12

12 For he delivers uthe needy when he calls,
the poor and him who has no helper.

Psalms 109:31

31For he stands vat the right hand of the needy one,
to save him from those who condemn his soul to death.

Psalms 146:7

7 wwho executes justice for the oppressed,
xwho gives food to the hungry.
