Deuteronomy 27:26
26 a“‘Cursed be anyone who does not confirm the words of this law by doing them.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’Romans 3:20
20For bby works of the law no human being ▼▼Greek flesh
will be justified in his sight, since dthrough the law comes knowledge of sin. Romans 4:15
15For ethe law brings wrath, but fwhere there is no law gthere is no transgression.Romans 7:9-11
9I was once alive apart from the law, but when the commandment came, sin came alive and I died. 10The very commandment hthat promised life proved to be death to me. 11For sin, iseizing an opportunity through the commandment, jdeceived me and through it killed me.2 Corinthians 3:7
7Now if kthe ministry of death, carved in letters on stone, came with such glory lthat the Israelites could not gaze at Moses’ face because of its glory, which was being brought to an end,2 Corinthians 3:9
9For if there was glory in mthe ministry of condemnation, nthe ministry of righteousness must far exceed it in glory.Galatians 3:10-12
The Righteous Shall Live by Faith
10For all who rely on works of the law are ounder a curse; for it is written, p“Cursed be everyone who does not qabide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.” 11Now it is evident that rno one is justified before God by the law, for s“The righteous shall live by faith.” ▼▼Or The one who by faith is righteous will live
12But the law is not of faith, rather u“The one who does them shall live by them.” Galatians 3:21
21Is the law then contrary to the promises of God? Certainly not! For vif a law had been given that could give life, then righteousness would indeed be by the law.
