Joshua 7:12-13

12 dTherefore the people of Israel cannot stand before their enemies. They eturn their backs before their enemies, because they have become fdevoted for destruction.
That is, set apart ( devoted) as an offering to the Lord (for destruction)
I will be with you no more, unless you destroy hthe devoted things from among you.
13Get up! Consecrate the people and say, iConsecrate yourselves for tomorrow; for thus says the Lord, God of Israel, “There are devoted things in your midst, O Israel. You cannot stand before your enemies until you take away the devoted things from among you.”

Haggai 1:6-11

6 nYou have sown much, and harvested little. oYou eat, but you never have enough; you drink, but you never have your fill. You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm. And he who pearns wages does so to put them into a bag with holes.

7Thus says the Lord of hosts: qConsider your ways. 8Go up to the hills and bring wood and build the house, that rI may take pleasure in it and that sI may be glorified, says the Lord. 9 tYou looked for much, and behold, it came to little. And when you brought it home, uI blew it away. Why? declares the Lord of hosts. Because of my house vthat lies in ruins, while each of you busies himself with his own house. 10Therefore wthe heavens above you have withheld the dew, and the earth has withheld its produce. 11And xI have called for a drought on the land and the hills, on ythe grain, the new wine, the oil, on what the ground brings forth, on man and beast, and zon all their labors.”

Haggai 2:14-17

14Then Haggai answered and said, aaSo is it with this people, and with this nation before me, declares the Lord, and so with every work of their hands. And what they offer there is unclean. 15Now then, abconsider from this day onward.
Or backward; also verse 18
Before stone was placed upon stone in the temple of the Lord,

17 afI struck you and all the products of your toil with blight and with mildew and with hail, agyet you did not turn to me, declares the Lord.

Malachi 2:2

2 ahIf you will not listen, if you will not take it to heart to give honor to my name, says the Lord of hosts, then I will send aithe curse upon you and I will curse ajyour blessings. Indeed, I have already cursed them, because you do not lay it to heart.
