28 The Lord will strike you with ^amadness and blindness and confusion of mind,

Job 15:21-22

21 ^bDreadful sounds are in his ears;
in ^cprosperity the destroyer will come upon him.
22 He does not believe that he will return out of darkness,
and he is marked for the sword.

Proverbs 23:29-35

29 ^dWho has woe? Who has sorrow?
Who has strife? Who has complaining?
Who has ^ewounds without cause?
Who has ^fredness of eyes?
