Deuteronomy 28:32-34
32 aYour sons and your daughters shall be given to another people, while your eyes look on and fail with longing for them all day long, bbut you shall be helpless. 33A nation that you have not known shall eat up the fruit of your ground and of all your labors, and you shall be only oppressed and crushed continually, 34so that you are driven mad cby the sights that your eyes see.1 Samuel 2:33

2 Kings 25:7
7They slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, gand put out the eyes of Zedekiah and bound him in chains and took him to Babylon.Jeremiah 29:21

6The king of Babylon islaughtered the sons of Zedekiah at jRiblah before his eyes, and the king of Babylon kslaughtered all the nobles of Judah. 7 lHe put out the eyes of Zedekiah and bound him in chains to take him to Babylon.
