Deuteronomy 28:36

36“The Lord will abring you and your king whom you set over you to a nation that neither you bnor your fathers have known. And cthere you shall serve other gods of wood and stone.

2 Kings 24:12-16

12 dand Jehoiachin the king of Judah gave himself up to the king of Babylon, himself and his mother and his servants and his officials and his palace officials. eThe king of Babylon took him prisoner fin the eighth year of his reign 13and carried off all the treasures of the house of the Lord gand the treasures of the king’s house, hand cut in pieces all the vessels of gold in the temple of the Lord, iwhich Solomon king of Israel had made, jas the Lord had foretold. 14 kHe carried away all Jerusalem and all the officials and all the mighty men of valor, l10,000 captives, mand all the craftsmen and the smiths. None remained, nexcept the poorest people of the land. 15 oAnd he carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon. The king’s mother, the king’s wives, his officials, and the chief men of the land he took into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon. 16And the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon all the men of valor, p7,000, and the craftsmen and the metal workers, 1,000, all of them strong and fit for war.

2 Kings 25:7

7They slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, qand put out the eyes of Zedekiah and bound him in chains and took him to Babylon.

Jeremiah 52:8-9

8But the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho, and all his army was scattered from him. 9Then they captured the king and brought him up to the king of Babylon at Riblah in the land of Hamath, and he passed sentence on him.

Lamentations 1:3

3 rJudah has gone into exile because of affliction
and hard servitude;
sshe dwells now among the nations,
tbut finds no resting place;
her pursuers have all overtaken her
in the midst of her distress.

Lamentations 4:15

15 Away! vUnclean!” people cried at them.
Away! Away! Do not touch!”
So they became fugitives and wanderers;
people said among the nations,
“They shall stay with us no longer.”

Lamentations 4:20

20 wThe breath of our nostrils, xthe Lord’s anointed,
was captured yin their pits,
of whom we said, z“Under his shadow
we shall live among the nations.”

Ezekiel 12:13

13 aaAnd I will spread my net over him, and he shall be taken in my snare. And abI will bring him to Babylon, the land of the Chaldeans, acyet he shall not see it, and he shall die there.
