Deuteronomy 28:48

48therefore you shall serve your enemies whom the Lord will send against you, in hunger and thirst, in nakedness, and lacking everything. And he awill put a yoke of iron on your neck until he has destroyed you.

Deuteronomy 28:65-66

65And bamong these nations you shall find no respite, and there shall be no resting place for the sole of your foot, but cthe Lord will give you there a trembling heart and failing eyes and da languishing soul. 66Your life shall hang in doubt before you. Night and day you shall be in dread and have no assurance of your life.

Jeremiah 27:2

2Thus the Lord said to me: eMake yourself straps and fyoke-bars, and put them on your neck.

8“‘“But if any nation or kingdom will not serve this Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, gand put its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, I will punish that nation hwith the sword, with famine, and with pestilence, declares the Lord, until I have consumed it by his hand.

11 iBut any nation that will bring its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon and serve him, I will leave on its own land, to work it and dwell there, declares the Lord.”’”

12To jZedekiah king of Judah I spoke in like manner: kBring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and lserve him and his people and live.

Jeremiah 28:14

14For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: I have put upon the neck of all these nations man iron yoke to serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, nand they shall serve him, ofor I have given to him even the beasts of the field.’”

Lamentations 1:14
