Deuteronomy 28:49

49 aThe Lord will bring a nation against you from far away, from the end of the earth, bswooping down like the eagle, a nation cwhose language you do not understand,

Isaiah 5:26-28

26 He will draise a signal for nations far away,
and ewhistle for them ffrom the ends of the earth;
and behold, quickly, speedily they come!
27 gNone is weary, none stumbles,
none slumbers or sleeps,
not a waistband is loose,
not a sandal strap broken;
28 htheir arrows are sharp,
all their bows bent,
their horseshoofs seem like flint,
and their wheels ilike the whirlwind.

Isaiah 30:16-17

16and you said,
No! We will flee upon jhorses”;
therefore you shall flee away;
and, “We will ride upon swift steeds”;
therefore your pursuers shall be swift.
17 kA thousand shall flee at the threat of one;
at the threat of five you shall flee,
till you are left
like a flagstaff on the top of a mountain,
like a signal on a hill.
