Deuteronomy 28:49-50

49 aThe Lord will bring a nation against you from far away, from the end of the earth, bswooping down like the eagle, a nation cwhose language you do not understand, 50a hard-faced nation dwho shall not respect the old or show mercy to the young.

Isaiah 25:3-4

3 eTherefore strong peoples will glorify you;
cities of ruthless nations will fear you.
4 fFor you have been a stronghold to the poor,
a stronghold to the needy in his distress,
ga shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat;
hfor the breath of the ruthless is like a storm against a wall,

Ezekiel 30:11

11He and his people with him, ithe most ruthless of nations,
shall be brought in to destroy the land,
jand they shall draw their swords against Egypt
and fill the land with the slain.

Ezekiel 31:12

12 kForeigners, lthe most ruthless of nations, have cut it down and left it. mOn the mountains and in all the valleys its branches have fallen, and its boughs have been broken in all nthe ravines of the land, and oall the peoples of the earth have gone away from its shadow and left it.

Ezekiel 32:12

12I will cause pyour multitude to fall by the swords of mighty ones, all of them qmost ruthless of nations.

r“They shall bring to ruin the pride of Egypt,
and all its multitude

shall perish.

Daniel 7:7

7After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, tterrifying and dreadful and exceedingly strong. It had great iron teeth; uit devoured and broke in pieces vand stamped what was left with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and wit had ten horns.

Habakkuk 1:6-8

6For behold, xI am raising up the Chaldeans,
that bitter and hasty nation,
ywho march through the breadth of the earth,
zto seize dwellings not their own.
7They are dreaded and fearsome;
aatheir justice and dignity go forth from themselves.
8 abTheir horses are swifter than leopards,
more fierce than acthe evening wolves;
their horsemen press proudly on.
Their horsemen come from afar;
adthey fly like an eagle swift to devour.
