Deuteronomy 28:54

54The man who is the most tender and refined among you will abegrudge food to his brother, to bthe wife he embraces,
Hebrew  the wife of his bosom
and to the last of the children whom he has left,

Deuteronomy 28:56

56 dThe most tender and refined woman among you, who would not venture to set the sole of her foot on the ground because she is so delicate and tender, will begrudge to the husband she embraces,
Hebrew  the husband of her bosom
to her son and to her daughter,

1 Samuel 15:32

Proverbs 29:21

21Whoever pampers his servant from childhood
will in the end find him his heir.
The meaning of the Hebrew word rendered  his heir is uncertain

The Humiliation of Babylon

1 hCome down and sit in the dust,
O virgin idaughter of Babylon;

tender and delicate.

Jeremiah 6:2
