Deuteronomy 28:65-67

65And aamong these nations you shall find no respite, and there shall be no resting place for the sole of your foot, but bthe Lord will give you there a trembling heart and failing eyes and ca languishing soul. 66Your life shall hang in doubt before you. Night and day you shall be in dread and have no assurance of your life. 67 dIn the morning you shall say, ‘If only it were evening!’ and at evening you shall say, ‘If only it were morning!’ because of the dread that your heart shall feel, and ethe sights that your eyes shall see.

Job 18:11-21

11 fTerrors frighten him on every side,
and chase him at his heels.
12His strength is famished,
and calamity is gready for his stumbling.
13It consumes the parts of his skin;
hthe firstborn of death consumes his limbs.
14He is torn from the tent in which he trusted
and is brought to ithe king of terrors.
15In his tent dwells that which is none of his;
jsulfur is scattered over his habitation.
16His kroots dry up beneath,
and his branches lwither above.
17His mmemory perishes from the earth,
and he has no name in the street.
18 nHe is thrust from light into darkness,
and driven out of the world.
19He has no oposterity or progeny among his people,
and no survivor where he used to live.
20They of the west are appalled at his pday,
and qhorror seizes them of the east.
21Surely such are the dwellings of the unrighteous,
such is the place of him who rknows not God.”

Job 20:23-26

23To fill his belly to the full,
God
Hebrew he
will send his burning anger against him
and rain it upon him tinto his body.
24 uHe will flee from an iron weapon;
va bronze arrow will strike whim through.
25It xis drawn forth and comes out of his body;
ythe glittering point comes out of his zgallbladder;
aaterrors come upon him.
26Utter darkness is laid up for his treasures;
aba fire not fanned will devour him;
what is left in his tent will be consumed.

Psalms 73:19

19How they are destroyed acin a moment,
swept away utterly by adterrors!

Ezekiel 26:17-21

17And they will aeraise a lamentation over you and say to you,

“‘How you have perished,
you who were inhabited from the seas,
O city renowned,
afwho was mighty on the sea;
she and her inhabitants agimposed their terror
on all her inhabitants!
18Now the coastlands tremble
on the day of your fall,
and the coastlands that are on the sea
are dismayed at your passing.’
19For thus says the Lord God: When I make you a city laid waste, like the cities that are not inhabited, ahwhen I bring up the deep over you, and the great waters cover you, 20then aiI will make you go down with those who go down to the pit, to the people of old, and I will make you to dwell in the world below, among ruins from of old, ajwith those who go down to the pit, so that you will not be inhabited; but I will set beauty akin the land of the living. 21I will bring you alto a dreadful end, and you shall be no more. amThough you be sought for, you will never be found again, declares the Lord God.”
