Deuteronomy 28:67

67 aIn the morning you shall say, ‘If only it were evening!’ and at evening you shall say, ‘If only it were morning!’ because of the dread that your heart shall feel, and bthe sights that your eyes shall see.

Job 7:3-4

3so I am allotted months of cemptiness,
dand nights of misery are apportioned to me.
4 eWhen I lie down I say, ‘When shall I arise?’
But the night is long,
and I am full of tossing till the dawn.

Job 7:13-14

13 fWhen I say, ‘My bed will comfort me,
my couch will ease my complaint,’
14then you scare me with dreams
and terrify me with visions,

Job 24:14-16

14The murderer rises before it is light,
that he gmay kill the poor and needy,
and in the night he is like a thief.
15The eye of the adulterer also waits for hthe twilight,
saying, ‘No ieye will see me’;
and he veils his face.
16In the dark they jdig through houses;
by day they shut themselves up;
they do not know the light.
