Deuteronomy 29:19

19one who, when he hears the words of this sworn covenant, blesses himself in his heart, saying, ‘I shall be safe, though I walk in the stubbornness of my heart.’ This will lead to the sweeping away of moist and dry alike.

Jeremiah 7:24-27

24 aBut they did not obey or incline their ear, bbut walked in their own counsels and cthe stubbornness of their evil hearts, and dwent backward and not forward. 25From the day that your fathers came out of the land of Egypt to this day, eI have persistently sent all my servants the prophets to them, day after day. 26 fYet they did not listen to me or incline their ear, gbut stiffened their neck. hThey did worse than their fathers.

27 i“So you shall speak all these words to them, but they will not listen to you. jYou shall call to them, but they will not answer you.

Zechariah 7:11-12

11But kthey refused to pay attention land turned a stubborn shoulder and stopped their ears that they might not hear.
