Deuteronomy 29:19

19one who, when he hears the words of this sworn covenant, blesses himself in his heart, saying, ‘I shall be safe, though I walk in the stubbornness of my heart.’ This will lead to the sweeping away of moist and dry alike.

Judges 18:27-28

27But the people of Dan took what Micah had made, and the priest who belonged to him, and they came to Laish, to a people aquiet and unsuspecting, and bstruck them with the edge of the sword and burned the city with fire. 28And there was no deliverer because it was cfar from Sidon, and they had no dealings with anyone. It was in the valley that belongs to dBeth-rehob. Then they rebuilt the city and lived in it.

Daniel 5:3-6

3Then they brought in othe golden vessels that had been taken out of the temple, the house of God in Jerusalem, and the king and his lords, his wives, and his concubines drank from them. 4They drank wine and ppraised the qgods of gold and silver, bronze, iron, wood, and stone.

5 rImmediately sthe fingers of a human hand appeared and wrote on the plaster of the wall of the king’s palace, opposite the lampstand. And the king saw tthe hand as it wrote. 6 uThen the king’s color changed, vand his thoughts alarmed him; whis limbs gave way, and xhis knees knocked together.
