Deuteronomy 29:2-4

2 ^{▼▼Ch 29:1 in Hebrew} And Moses summoned all Israel and said to them: ^b“You have seen all that the Lord did before your eyes in the land of Egypt, to Pharaoh and to all his servants and to all his land, 3 the great ^ctrials that your eyes saw, the signs, and those great wonders. 4 But to this day ^dthe Lord has not given you a heart to understand or eyes to see or ears to hear.

1 Samuel 8:7-9

7 And the Lord said to Samuel, “Obey the voice of the people in all that they say to you, ^efor they have not rejected you, ^fbut they have rejected me from being king over them. 8 According to all the deeds that they have done, from the day I brought them up out of Egypt even to this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are also doing to you. 9 Now then, obey their voice; only you shall solemnly warn them ^gand show them the ways of the king who shall reign over them.”

2 Kings 17:13-15

13 Yet the Lord ^hwarned Israel and Judah ⁱby every prophet ^jand every seer, saying, ^k“Turn from your evil ways and keep my commandments and my statutes, in accordance with all the Law that I commanded your fathers, and that I sent to you by my servants the prophets.”

14 But they would not listen, ^lbut were stubborn, as their fathers had been, who did not believe in the Lord their God. 15 They despised his statutes ^mand his covenant that he made with their fathers and the warnings that he gave them. They went after ⁿfalse idols ^oand became false, and they followed the nations that were around them, concerning whom the ^pLord had commanded them that they should not do like them.

2 Chronicles 36:15-16

15 The Lord, the God of their fathers, ^qsent persistently to them by his messengers, because he had compassion on his people and on his dwelling place. 16 ^rBut they kept mocking the messengers of God, ^sdespising his words and scoffing at his prophets, ^tuntil the wrath of the Lord rose against his people, until there was no remedy.

Nehemiah 9:30
