Deuteronomy 31:16-18

16 And the Lord said to Moses, ^m“Behold, you are about to lie down with your fathers. Then this people will rise and ⁿwhore after the foreign gods among them in the land that they are entering, and they will ^oforsake me and ^pbreak my covenant that I have made with them. 17 Then my anger will be kindled against them in that day, and ^qI will forsake them and ^rhide my face from them, and they will be devoured. Joshua 23:15-16

15 But just as all the good things that the Lord your God promised concerning you have been fulfilled for you, so the Lord will bring upon you ^akall the evil things, until he has destroyed you from off this good land that the Lord your God has given you, 16 if you transgress the covenant of the Lord your God, which he commanded you, and go and serve other gods and bow down to them.
