Deuteronomy 29:27-28
27Therefore the anger of the Lord was kindled against this land, abringing upon it all the curses written in this book, 28and the Lord buprooted them from their land in anger and fury and great wrath, and ccast them into another land, as they are this day.’2 Kings 17:18
18Therefore the Lord was very angry with Israel and removed them out of his sight. None was left but dthe tribe of Judah only.2 Kings 17:20
20And the Lord rejected all the descendants of Israel and afflicted them eand gave them into the hand of plunderers, until he had cast them out of his sight.2 Kings 18:11
11The king of Assyria carried the Israelites away to Assyria and put them in fHalah, and on the gHabor, hthe river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes,2 Kings 21:13
13 iAnd I will stretch over Jerusalem the measuring line of Samaria, and the plumb line of the house of Ahab, and I will wipe Jerusalem as one wipes a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down.2 Kings 24:3
3Surely this came upon Judah at the command of the Lord, to remove them out of his sight, jfor the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he had done,2 Kings 25:11
11 kAnd the rest of the people who were left in the city and the deserters who had deserted to the king of Babylon, together with the rest of the multitude, Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried into exile.Ezekiel 23:32-35
32Thus says the Lord God:“You shall drink your sister’s cup
that is deep and large;
you shall be laughed at and held in derision,
for it contains much;
33you will be filled with ldrunkenness and sorrow.
mA cup of horror and desolation,
the cup of nyour sister Samaria;
34 oyou shall drink it and drain it out,
and gnaw its shards,
and tear your breasts;
for I have spoken, declares the Lord God. 35Therefore thus says the Lord God: Because pyou have forgotten me and qcast me behind your back, you yourself rmust bear the consequences of your lewdness and whoring.”
