Deuteronomy 29:27-28

27Therefore the anger of the Lord was kindled against this land, abringing upon it all the curses written in this book, 28and the Lord buprooted them from their land in anger and fury and great wrath, and ccast them into another land, as they are this day.’

2 Kings 17:18

Ezekiel 23:32-35

32Thus says the Lord God:

that is deep and large;
you shall be laughed at and held in derision,
for it contains much;
33you will be filled with ldrunkenness and sorrow.
mA cup of horror and desolation,
the cup of nyour sister Samaria;
34 oyou shall drink it and drain it out,
and gnaw its shards,
and tear your breasts;
for I have spoken, declares the Lord God.
35Therefore thus says the Lord God: Because pyou have forgotten me and qcast me behind your back, you yourself rmust bear the consequences of your lewdness and whoring.”
