25 Please let me go over and see ^athe good land beyond the Jordan, that good hill country and ^bLebanon.’

Deuteronomy 3:27

27 ^cGo up to the top of Pisgah and lift up your eyes westward and northward and southward and eastward, and look at it with your eyes, for you shall not go over this Jordan.

1 Kings 13:21-22

21 And he cried to the man of God who came from Judah, “Thus says the Lord, ‘Because you have disobeyed the word of the Lord and have not kept the command that the Lord your God commanded you, 22 but have come back and have eaten bread and drunk water in the place of which he said to you, “Eat no bread and drink no water,” your body shall not come to the tomb of your fathers.’”

Amos 3:2

2 Peter 1:13-15

13 I think it right, as long as I am in this ^lbody, ^{▼▼Greek tent; also verse 14} ⁿto stir you up by way of reminder, 14 ^osince I know that the putting off of my body will be soon, ^pas our Lord Jesus Christ made clear to me. 15 And I will make every effort so that after my departure you may be able at any time to recall these things.
