Deuteronomy 30:1-3
Repentance and Forgiveness
1 a“And bwhen all these things come upon you, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before you, and cyou call them to mind among all the nations where the Lord your God has driven you, 2and dreturn to the Lord your God, you and your children, and obey his voice in all that I command you today, with all your heart and with all your soul, 3then the Lord your God ewill restore your fortunes and have mercy on you, and he will fgather you again from all the peoples where the Lord your God has scattered you.1 Kings 8:47-48
47yet gif they turn their heart in the land to which they have been carried captive, and repent and plead with you in the land of their captors, saying, h‘We have sinned and have acted perversely and wickedly,’ 48 iif they repent with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their enemies, who carried them captive, and pray to you jtoward their land, which you gave to their fathers, the city that you have chosen, and the house that I have built for your name,2 Kings 10:31
31But Jehu was not careful to walk in the law of the Lord, the God of Israel, with all his heart. kHe did not turn from the sins of Jeroboam, which he made Israel to sin.2 Kings 23:3
3And the king stood lby the pillar and mmade a covenant before the Lord, nto walk after the Lord and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all his heart and all his soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people joined in the covenant.2 Chronicles 15:12
