Deuteronomy 30:1-4

Repentance and Forgiveness

1 a“And bwhen all these things come upon you, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before you, and cyou call them to mind among all the nations where the Lord your God has driven you, 2and dreturn to the Lord your God, you and your children, and obey his voice in all that I command you today, with all your heart and with all your soul, 3then the Lord your God ewill restore your fortunes and have mercy on you, and he will fgather you again from all the peoples where the Lord your God has scattered you. 4 gIf your outcasts are in the uttermost parts of heaven, from there the Lord your God will gather you, and from there he will take you.

1 Kings 8:47-48

47yet hif they turn their heart in the land to which they have been carried captive, and repent and plead with you in the land of their captors, saying, i‘We have sinned and have acted perversely and wickedly,’ 48 jif they repent with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their enemies, who carried them captive, and pray to you ktoward their land, which you gave to their fathers, the city that you have chosen, and the house that I have built for your name,

Nehemiah 1:9

9 lbut if you return to me and keep my commandments and do them, mthough your outcasts are in the uttermost parts of heaven, from there I will gather them and bring them nto the place that I have chosen, to make my name dwell there.’

50 o“You who have escaped from the sword,
go, do not stand still!

Ezekiel 6:9

9then those of you who escape pwill remember me among the nations where they are carried captive, how qI have been broken over their whoring heart that has departed from me and over their eyes rthat go whoring after their idols. sAnd they will be loathsome in their own sight for the evils that they have committed, for all their abominations.
