Deuteronomy 31:17

17Then my anger will be kindled against them in that day, and aI will forsake them and bhide my face from them, and they will be devoured. And many evils and troubles will come upon them, so that they will say in that day, c‘Have not these evils come upon us because dour God is not among us?’

Deuteronomy 32:19-22

19 e“The Lord saw it and spurned them,
because of the provocation of fhis sons and his daughters.
20And he said, g‘I will hide my face from them;
I will see what their end will be,
for they are a perverse generation,
children in whom is no faithfulness.
21 hThey have made me jealous with what is no god;
they have provoked me to anger iwith their idols.
So jI will make them jealous with those who are no people;
I will provoke them to anger with ka foolish nation.
22For la fire is kindled by my anger,
and it burns to mthe depths of Sheol,
devours the earth and its increase,
and sets on fire the foundations of the mountains.

2 Kings 13:3

2 Kings 22:13-17

14So Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam, and Achbor, and Shaphan, and Asaiah went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of rTikvah, son of sHarhas, keeper of the wardrobe (now she lived in Jerusalem in tthe Second Quarter), and they talked with her. 15And she said to them, “Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: ‘Tell the man who sent you to me, 16Thus says the Lord, Behold, I will bring disaster upon this place and upon its inhabitants, all the words of the book that the king of Judah has read. 17 uBecause they have forsaken me and have made offerings to other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the work of their hands, therefore vmy wrath will be kindled against this place, and it will not be quenched.

2 Chronicles 36:16

16 wBut they kept mocking the messengers of God, xdespising his words and scoffing at his prophets, yuntil the wrath of the Lord rose against his people, until there was no remedy.
