Deuteronomy 31:17-18

17Then my anger will be kindled against them in that day, and aI will forsake them and bhide my face from them, and they will be devoured. And many evils and troubles will come upon them, so that they will say in that day, c‘Have not these evils come upon us because dour God is not among us?’ 18And I will surely hide my face in that day because of all the evil that they have done, because ethey have turned to other gods.

Deuteronomy 32:20

20And he said, f‘I will hide my face from them;
I will see what their end will be,
for they are a perverse generation,
children in whom is no faithfulness.

Isaiah 54:8

8 gIn overflowing anger for a moment
I hid my face from you,
hbut with everlasting love I will have compassion on you,”
says the Lord, your Redeemer.

Isaiah 59:2

2 ibut your iniquities have made a separation
between you and your God,
and your sins have hidden his face from you
so that he does not hear.

Isaiah 64:7

7 jThere is no one who calls upon your name,
who rouses himself to take hold of you;
for you have hidden your face from us,
and have made us melt in
Masoretic Text; Septuagint, Syriac, Targum  have delivered us into
the hand of our iniquities.

Ezekiel 39:23-24

23And lthe nations shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity, because they dealt so treacherously with me that mI hid my face from them and ngave them into the hand of their adversaries, and they all fell by the sword. 24I dealt with them oaccording to their uncleanness and their transgressions, and hid my face from them.

Micah 3:4

4 pThen they will cry to the Lord,
but he will not answer them;
qhe will hide his face from them at that time,
because they have made their deeds evil.
