Deuteronomy 31:17-18

And many evils and troubles will come upon them, so that they will say in that day, ^c‘Have not these evils come upon us because ^dour God is not among us?’ 18 And I will surely hide my face in that day because of all the evil that they have done, because ^ethey have turned to other gods.

Deuteronomy 32:20

20 And he said, ^f‘I will hide my face from them;
I will see what their end will be,
for they are a perverse generation,
children in whom is no faithfulness.

Isaiah 57:17

17 Because of the iniquity of his ^gunjust gain I was angry,
I struck him; I hid my face and was angry,
but he went on backsliding in the way of his own heart.

Ezekiel 39:23-24

23 And ^hthe nations shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity, because they dealt so treacherously with me that ⁱI hid my face from them and ^jgave them into the hand of their adversaries, and they all fell by the sword. 24 I dealt with them ^kaccording to their uncleanness and their transgressions, and hid my face from them.

Ezekiel 39:29
