Deuteronomy 32:15-18

15 “But ^aJeshurun grew fat, and ^bkicked;
^cyou grew fat, stout, and sleek;
^dthen he forsook God ^ewho made him
and scoffed at ^fthe Rock of his salvation.
16 ^gThey stirred him to jealousy with strange gods;
with abominations they provoked him to anger.
17 ^hThey sacrificed to demons that were no gods,
to gods they had never known,
to ⁱnew gods that had come recently,
whom your fathers had never dreaded.
18 You were unmindful of ^jthe Rock that bore ^{▼▼Or fathered} you,
and you ^lforgot the God who gave you birth.

2 Kings 10:29

29 But Jehu did not turn aside from ^mthe sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, ⁿwhich he made Israel to sin—that is, the golden calves that were in Bethel and in Dan.

2 Kings 13:2

2 He did what was evil in the sight of the Lord and followed the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, ^owhich he made Israel to sin; he did not depart from them.

2 Kings 17:20-23

20 And the Lord rejected all the descendants of Israel and afflicted them ^pand gave them into the hand of plunderers, until he had cast them out of his sight.

And Jeroboam drove Israel from following the Lord ^sand made them commit great sin. 22 The people of Israel walked in all the sins that Jeroboam did. They did not depart from them, 23 until the Lord removed Israel out of his sight, ^tas he had spoken by all his servants the prophets. ^uSo Israel was exiled from their own land to Assyria until this day.
