Deuteronomy 32:16-17

16 aThey stirred him to jealousy with strange gods;
with abominations they provoked him to anger.
17 bThey sacrificed to demons that were no gods,
to gods they had never known,
to cnew gods that had come recently,
whom your fathers had never dreaded.

Deuteronomy 32:21

21 dThey have made me jealous with what is no god;
they have provoked me to anger ewith their idols.
So fI will make them jealous with those who are no people;
I will provoke them to anger with ga foolish nation.

Judges 5:8

8 hWhen new gods were chosen,
then war was in the gates.
iWas shield or spear to be seen
among forty thousand in Israel?

2 Chronicles 11:15

15and he appointed his own jpriests for the high places and for the goat idols and for kthe calves that he had made.

Psalms 106:19-20

19 They lmade a calf in Horeb
and worshiped a metal image.
20They mexchanged the glory of God
Hebrew  exchanged their glory

for the image of an ox that eats grass.

Psalms 115:4-8

4 oTheir idols are silver and gold,
pthe work of human hands.
5They have mouths, qbut do not speak;
eyes, but do not see.
6They have ears, but do not hear;
noses, but do not smell.
7They have hands, but do not feel;
feet, but do not walk;
and they do not make a sound in their throat.
8 rThose who make them become like them;
so do all who trust in them.
