Deuteronomy 32:16-17

16 aThey stirred him to jealousy with strange gods;
with abominations they provoked him to anger.
17 bThey sacrificed to demons that were no gods,
to gods they had never known,
to cnew gods that had come recently,
whom your fathers had never dreaded.

2 Kings 23:4-5

4And the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest and the priests dof the second order and the keepers of the threshold to bring out of the temple of the Lord all the vessels made for eBaal, for fAsherah, and for all the host of heaven. gHe burned them outside Jerusalem in the fields of the Kidron and carried their ashes to Bethel. 5And he deposed the priests whom the kings of Judah had ordained to make offerings in the high places at the cities of Judah and around Jerusalem; those also who burned incense to Baal, to the sun and the moon and the constellations hand all the host of the heavens.

2 Kings 23:13

13And the king defiled the high places that were east of Jerusalem, to the south of ithe mount of corruption, which Solomon the king of Israel had built for jAshtoreth the abomination of the Sidonians, and for kChemosh the abomination of Moab, and for lMilcom the abomination of the Ammonites.

Isaiah 2:8

8Their land is mfilled with idols;
they bow down to nthe work of their hands,
to what their own fingers have made.

Jeremiah 2:28

28But owhere are your gods
that you made for yourself?
Let them arise, pif they can save you,
in your time of trouble;

Hosea 12:11

11 yIf there is iniquity in Gilead,
