Deuteronomy 32:2

2May amy teaching drop as the rain,
my speech distill as the dew,
like gentle rain upon the tender grass,
and blike showers upon the herb.

Isaiah 30:10-11

10 cwho say to dthe seers, “Do not see,”
and to the prophets, “Do not prophesy to us what is right;
speak to us esmooth things,
prophesy illusions,
11leave the way, turn aside from the path,
let us hear no more about the Holy One of Israel.”

Jeremiah 11:21

21Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the men of fAnathoth, gwho seek your life, and say, h“Do not prophesy in the name of the Lord, or you will die by our hand”—

Amos 2:12

12 “But you made the Nazirites idrink wine,
and commanded the prophets,
saying, j‘You shall not prophesy.’

Amos 7:12-13

12And Amaziah said to Amos, k“O seer, go, flee away lto the land of Judah, and meat bread there, and prophesy there, 13but nnever again prophesy at Bethel, for oit is the king’s sanctuary, and it is a temple of the kingdom.”

Amos 7:16
