Deuteronomy 32:21

21 aThey have made me jealous with what is no god;
they have provoked me to anger bwith their idols.
So cI will make them jealous with those who are no people;
I will provoke them to anger with da foolish nation.

Jeremiah 2:5

eWhat wrong did your fathers find in me
that they went far from me,
fand went after gworthlessness, and became worthless?

13for my people have committed two evils:

and hewed out cisterns for themselves,
broken cisterns that can hold no water.

Jeremiah 10:8

8 kThey are both lstupid and foolish;
the instruction of idols is but wood!

Jeremiah 10:15

15They are worthless, a work of delusion;
at the time of their punishment they shall perish.

Jeremiah 14:22

22Are there any among mthe false gods of the nations nthat can bring rain?
Or can the heavens give showers?
Are you not he, O Lord our God?
We set our hope on you,
ofor you do all these things.

Jeremiah 16:19

19 pO Lord, my strength and my stronghold,
qmy refuge in the day of trouble,
rto you shall the nations come
from the ends of the earth and say:
“Our fathers have inherited nothing but lies,
sworthless things in which there is no profit.

Jonah 2:8

8 tThose who pay regard to vain idols
uforsake their hope of steadfast love.

Habakkuk 2:18

18 vWhat profit is an idol
when its maker has shaped it,
a metal image, wa teacher of lies?
For its maker trusts in his own creation
when he makes xspeechless idols!
