Deuteronomy 32:21-25

21 aThey have made me jealous with what is no god;
they have provoked me to anger bwith their idols.
So cI will make them jealous with those who are no people;
I will provoke them to anger with da foolish nation.
22For ea fire is kindled by my anger,
and it burns to fthe depths of Sheol,
devours the earth and its increase,
and sets on fire the foundations of the mountains.
23 “‘And I will heap disasters upon them;
gI will spend my arrows on them;
24they shall be wasted with hunger,
and devoured by plague
and poisonous pestilence;
I will send hthe teeth of beasts against them,
with the venom of ithings that crawl in the dust.
25 jOutdoors the sword shall bereave,
and indoors terror,
for young man and woman alike,
the nursing child with the man of gray hairs.

Jeremiah 6:11-12

11Therefore I am full of the wrath of the Lord;
kI am weary of holding it in.
l“Pour it out upon the children in the street,
and upon the gatherings of young men, also;
mboth husband and wife nshall be taken,
the elderly and the very aged.
12 oTheir houses shall be turned over to others,
their fields and wives together,
for I will stretch out my hand
against the inhabitants of the land,”

declares the Lord.

Jeremiah 7:20

20Therefore thus says the Lord God: Behold, pmy anger and my wrath will be poured out on this place, upon man and beast, upon the trees of the field and the fruit of the ground; qit will burn and not be quenched.”

Jeremiah 9:9-11

9 rShall I not punish them for these things? declares the Lord,
and shall I not avenge myself
on a nation such as this?
10 “I will take up weeping and wailing for the mountains,
and a lamentation for sthe pastures of the wilderness,
tbecause they are laid waste so that no one passes through,
and the lowing of cattle is not heard;
uboth the birds of the air and the beasts
have fled and are gone.
11 vI will make Jerusalem a heap of ruins,
wa lair of jackals,
xand I will make the cities of Judah a desolation,
without inhabitant.”

Jeremiah 13:14

14And I will ydash them one against another, fathers and sons together, declares the Lord. I will not pity or spare or have compassion, that I should not destroy them.’”

Lamentations 2:8

8 zThe Lord determined to lay in ruins
aathe wall of the daughter of Zion;
abhe stretched out the measuring line;
he did not restrain his hand from destroying;
ache caused rampart and wall to lament;
adthey languished together.

Lamentations 2:17

17 The Lord has done what he purposed;
he has carried out aehis word,
which he commanded aflong ago;
aghe has thrown down ahwithout pity;
aihe has made the enemy rejoice over you
and exalted the ajmight of your foes.

Lamentations 4:22

22 akThe punishment of your iniquity, O daughter of Zion, is accomplished;
he will keep you in exile no longer;
Or  he will not exile you again

but amyour iniquity, O daughter of Edom, he will punish;
he will uncover your sins.
